Victor Filippopolitis was born in Athens in 1994. He studied classical piano and music theory at the Nikos Skalkotas conservatory from the age of 6 until he became 15. He started being interested in saxophone during studying at the Ilion music school.

Then he was accepted at the music department of the Ionian University and graduated in 2019 with saxophone specialization. During his studies he was already participating in many jazz groups and since his graduation he became an active member of the Athens jazz scene, playing among others with George Kontrafouris, Dimitris Papadopoulos, Ntinos Manos, Billy Pod, while he also records and performs with various projects and groups.

He has performed at Aqua Jazz Festival (in Corfu) and Preveza Jazz Festival and in 2018 he represented the Ionian University at the 28th conference of IASJ (International Association of Schools of Jazz) in Ethonia. He also works on his own compositions in order to record them with his group and additionally works on other recordings.
