Kleon Antoniou

Antoniou Kleon was born in Sydney, Aystralia. He studied music theory at the Hellenic Cobservatory of Music and Arts and he also took guitar and harmony lessons. At the same time he started playing with many bands as a guitarist and as a singer.

He was made known for his own composition at the singing competition of Corfu, organized by Manos Hadjidakis. He has also composed music for the "Musical workshops of the third program" a show of the Greek Ρadio and Television (ERT) organized by the musician Michalis Grigoriou.

He is a member of the group Mode Plagal, one of the most known gorups of the Greek jazz scene, with whom they have released four albums and done many live appearances all over Greece.

He has collaborated with many artists of the Greek scene such as Lena Platonos, Nikos Portokaloglou, Alkinoos Ioannidis, Orfeas Peridis, Dimitris Poulikakos, George Pilali and more.

Ηe has also worked and recorded with artists of the Greek jazz scene, such as Sofia Noiti, Michalis Siganidis and the collective Modified Dog.
