Monika Kabasele was born in Athens in 1995. She has graduated from the Faculty of Philology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UoA) and she has obtained a master's degree in "Jazz improvisation and new technologies" also from the UoA.

She has attended singing workshops with Jay Clayton, Sheila Jordan, Kurt Elling and she has cooperated with some of the most important musicians of the Greek jazz scene, as Pantelis Benetatos, Serafeim Bellos, Dimitri Vassilakis and Dimitris Kalantzis. She participated in various projects as Sera Bellos vocal quartet, Anamateur and Pros presenting Monique, Jazz Democracy, Girl Talk and co-founded the bands: World Trio, Dearly Beloved Nancy και Grecofuturisme. With all the above, she has appeared in many lives and festivals in Greece and abroad. 

The last years, Monika Kabasele has been living in Paris studying jazz singing at the Conservatoire de Paris.
