George Makris debuted in music in 1981 performing at the first Kerkyra Greek song contest.

His first album "Pera Vrehei" was released in 1982. It was succeded by two more albums, influenced by Frank Zappa, fusion, rock and avant-guard.

In the mid '90s he formed the Zoolixo λίγο, a group that used satirical and subversive lyrics, funky rhythms and this time again Zappa influences.

In the years that followed Makris began to move away from music and dedicated himself to painting.
