Stathis Anninos was born in Athens in 1980. In 1998, still being a high school student he recorded a Manos Hadjidakis tribute album with his school mates entitled "Dreams of the world". After he graduation from Ilion Music School he received a classical piano and a fugue diploma. Then he continued his studies with Takis Farazis.

He has performed at festivals and venues around Greece and abroad and has collaborated with popular artists (Dionysis Savvopoulos, Nikos Xydakis, Nikos Kypourgos, Maria Farantouri and others) as well as with greek jazz musicians. He teaches at music schools and conservatories.

Some of his solo piano works have been performed at Athens Music Hall. He has also composed music for films and the theater. His debut album "Anthologia" was released in 2021.
