Lakis Typaldos was born in Athens. He started playing the guitar at the age of fifteen, and sang ballads at various clubs.Later on he turned to rock and jazz.

Since then, he has travelled along many different musical paths. His debut album "Tales from the Αbyss" was released in 2003.
