Iakovos Pavlopoulos was born in Athens. He studied music and electronics in Greece and the Netherlands. He has studied jazz drums, classical harmony, classical and Latin-African percussion.

He participates in various bands, such as the Modified Dog, and has collaborated with many well-known artists such as Lavrentis Mahairitsas, Telemachos Mousas, Nikos Kypourgos, Miltos Logiadis, etc.

He teaches drums in various conservatories and writes music for the theater.
