Pianist, composer and performer Alexandros Orfanos studied with a scholaship at the Berklee College of Music. He graduated with distinction as an exceptional talent in jazz performance. He received the first award at Sienna Jazz Festival.
He has collaborated with Antonio Sanchez and was heavily influenced by his contact with the legendary Chick Corea.

He has performed in concerts and festivals in Greece, the USA, Italy, Hungary, Switzerland and elsewhere.

In Greece he has collaborated with many conservatrories and he regularly teaches in jazz and modern improvisation workshops. As a member of the Voyage Jazz Band he participated in educational projects aimed at introducing children to jazz.
