Alkis Niilend was born in 2000 in Athens. He is a graduate of the music school of Alimos and the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University majoring in Jazz performance.

He is active in the jazz and modern music scene and collaborates with many leading Greek musicians. He has performed on numerous venues and festivals as a leader and as a sideman.

He is a founding member of the band Listen It Speaks.

His debut personal album will be released in 2024.
