Myrto Naoum was born in Athens. She studied economics at the Athens University. She also studied music and vocals at the National Conservatory of Athens.

She participated in various funk, soul and rock groups. Then she started being involved in jazz and performing with the Myrto Naoum Quartet.

Among others she has collaborated with Yiannis Papadopoulos, Konstantinos Stouraitis,Grigoris Theodoridis and the Swingin' Cats.
