John Mourjopoulos is an electroacoustics and digital sound technology professor at the University of Patra. He is the author of many publications in international magazines and conferences. He has also worked on digital sound products development and has been awarded for his contribution in acoustics and digital sound research.

Since the '80s he has been active in music and has collaborated with artists such as Michalis Siganidis, Floros Floridis, Spyweirdos, Andreas Georgiou and more.

He has composed music for films, TV and dance theatre and has performed in concerts.
