Andreas Mniestris

Andreas Mniestris was born in Piraeus in 1956. He is an electroacoustic music composer, saxophone player and sound engineer.
He has studied with Horacio Vaggione, David Rosenboom, Larry Polansky, Gordon Mumma, Robert Ashley and Anthony Braxton. He teaches at the Music Department of Ionian University as Professor of Electroacoustic Music Composition where he directs the Music Department’s Electroacoustic Music Research Laboratory.
His debut album "Some Pieces" was released in 1998.
