Dimitris Michas was born in Loutraki in 1972. He started playing electric bass since his school days.

He was a founding member of the rock band "Apontes" with which he recorded 2 albums. At the same time he worked as a radio producer. In 2009 in Thessaloniki he participated in the band Kaldera and in 2012 in the live soundtrack of the film 'Berlin' by Walther Ruttmann, with the "The Grand Pessimistic Orchestra".

Since 2017 he lives in Loutraki and is a founding member of the progressive jazz band "A Fish In The Ear".
