Miaris Dimitris was born in Nicosia in 1991. He started taking pinao lessons at the age of 6 years old. He had his first encounter with jazz music a decade later, at the age of 16 through the Jazz Futures music workshops that were presented by Sacha Perry, Vahagn Hayrapetyan, Ari Roland και Chris Byars.

Since then he has participated in all Jazz Futures workshops and at the same time he appears in concerts and festivals in Cyprus and abroad. 

In 2015 he graduated from the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University having studied jazz piano under the guidance of the acclaimed musician George Kontrafouris.
