Yannis Keerimkyridis was born in Ioannina in 1979. He started piano lessons at the age of four and finished his classical studies at the age of sixteen.

He is a graduate of the Department of International and European Economic Studies of the Athens University of Economics and Business and has a master's degree in business administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business and the Rotterdam school of management.

He has participated in many bands and has collaborated with many musicians, such as Ara Dinkjian, Eleftheria Arvanitaki, Haig Yazgian and many more.

He is a member of the Sokratis Sinopoulos Quartet, with which he recorded for the ECM and made many international appearances.
