Rania Toli was born in Arta and grew up amidst traditions and sounds that defined her musical identity. Self-taught for more than ten years, she discovered her voice and creativity through her personal passion and her participation in various musical groups in Greece. Alongside other studies and jobs, music always remained the center of her life, until she decided to follow her dream in America.

She studied with scholarships at Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory, where she was honored with important distinctions, such as the Outstanding Jazz Vocalist Award, 1st Prize in the DownBeat competition with the Berklee Vocal Jazz Ensemble and participated in the NEC Honors Ensembles. Today she divides her life and her music between the USA and Greece, teaching and working, while preparing her first personal album, combining jazz sounds with influences from her homeland.
