Singer Christian Ronig was born in Münster, Germany. He started playing the recorder at the age of six and then the flute and the guitar. As a teenager he was a member of amateur bands.

In his hometown he discovered greek music and he instantly felt intrigued by the exotic melodies, alien rhythms and oriental scales. After having failed numerous times to share his discoveries with his non-Greek friends he decided to translate and rearrange the songs that he liked most.

His debut album "Greece is mine" was released in 2017.
