Rafael Meleteas was born in Athens in 1997. He started piano lessons at a very early age and being a student he played as a self-taught drummer in various progressive rock groups. He has being involved in various music styles and plays several instruments and since 2015 he started collaborating with Greek jazz musicians. In 2019 he graduated the jazz department of Athens Conservatory with the piano being his main instrument.

Among others he is a founding member of drummer's Spyros Panagiotopoulos group Brothers From Another Mother and of the trio Soul Peanuts.
