Alexia Vassiliou (AKA Alexia) was born in Famagusta in 1964. She studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston and graduated in 1985.

She has been involved in many musical idioms ranging from pop, musicals and film music to jazz and gospel. In 1996 the released the album "In a jazz mood", featuring among others Chick Corea and John Patitucci.

She has recorded many songs that became hits and has performed successfully in Greece, Cyprus and abroad.
