Victor Tsilibaris came into contact with the piano at a very young age. As a teenager, he became interested in various music genres and explored improvisation. This brought him to the side of Michalis Chrysoulakis with whom he learned the first jazz harmonies. Later he took lessons with Sami Amiris and Grigoris Simadopoulos.

He studied in the Netherlands at the Conservatory of Utrecht with Bert van den Brink and Rembrandt Frerichs as his main teachers.

He then did his master's degree in New York. During his studies he also attended lessons and masterclasses from musicians such as Sullivan Fortner, Aaron Goldberg, Taylor Eigsti, Aaron Parks, Ambrose Akinmunsire, Kenny Werner, Stefano Battaglia and Milcho Leviev.

He has participated in many groups in New York, the Netherlands and Greece doing concerts and recordings. Apart from the piano, he is also actively involved in composition.
