Sokratis Tsentoglou was born in Grevena in 1986, and in recent years has been active in Athens and Copenhagen. His musical career began in 2007 when he started being involved with drums, piano and classical theory.

In 2016 he settled in Copenhagen where he attended jazz composition and improvisation seminars.

He formed the group Kepler is free with which he has recorded two albums. After leaving the band he records and performs with the trio How deep how high, with which he has already recorded and released two albums, as well as with the improvisational music duo Forty two years day forty two years night with bassist George Kokkinaris.
