Damian Tselentakis was born in 2001, in Heraklion, Crete. His first contact with music was a toy piano at his home and at a very young age he showed a profound love for the instrument and music. At 18, after preparing with Antonis Tsikandilakis he goes on to study and finish a degree in music performance (jazz piano) at Ionian University. During his studies, he studied under George Kontrafouris and worked with distinguished musicians and educators including Dimos Dimitriadis, Nick Thessalonikefs, Yiannis Vagianos, and Lefteris Kordis.

He was also part of the Ionian University group that participated in the 2024 IASJ (International Association of Schools of Jazz).

He has been a member of the Kaki Melissa Trio, performing in Athens and Corfu since 2024. They released their first album in 2026.
