Achilleas Tabakis was born in Nafpaktos in 1982. He started with music at 13 interested in rock and progressive rock. He studied with the composer and improviser Andreas Georgiou.

Since settling in Athens in 2004 he became a member of progressive rock bands, performing all over Greece, while studying many techniques and styled on electric, fretless and electric double bass. He has collaborated with artists of many music idioms such as the Impulse Trio and the Another Tale Quartet, with which he released the album "Paradox Ways".

In 2018 he appeared at Herodion with TKG (Theodore Kalantzakos Group) for their recent album "Mozart in Color".

He is a member of the group Third Act. The band's debut album "Unknown Sea" was released in 2019.
