Villy Paraskevopoulos studied classical piano at the Conservatory Anagennisi in Athens (1990-2001). He continued studying jazz piano at the Anton Bruckner Private University, Linz (2001-2005) under Dejan Pecenko and Christoph Cech and graduated with honours.

Since 2006 he has been teaching jazz piano at the Musikschule der Stadt Wien in Vienna.

In 2012 he graduated with honours from Institut für Popularmusik at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, with a Master of Arts in piano.

He has also attended workshops with David Liebman, Chick Corea and others.

He was a founding member of the group Hypnotic Zone.
