Alkistis Misouli was born in Athens. She has been playing the viola since the age of 9, having obtained her first Diploma in Athens Conservatory with Ilias Sdoukos in 2018. She obtained professional experience by working with leading orchestras in Greece and also performing as a soloist.

She moved to Amsterdam and completed her Bachelor with Sven Arne Tepl and Nobuko Imai (2022).

Currently pursuing her Master’s in Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the two-year scholarship ‘’Alexandra Trianti’’, she has created her own program, combining several musical angles, from jazz improvisation to composition, her main teachers being Richard Ayres, Sven Arne Tepl, Jeffrey Bruinsma and Simon Rigter.
