Marios Menelaou was born in Cyprus. In 2010 he started studying bass and jazz music at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. In 2015 he was awarded a scholarship and studied traditional Balinese music in the University of ISI Denpasar in Bali, Indonesia. In 2016 he returned to Cyprus were he studied composition and started teaching and performing. In 2018 he moved to Mumbai India where he was the Head of the Western Performance Department at the True school of Music until October 2022. During those years he has performed around India with musicians across the country.
