Alex Louloudis
Alex Louloudis was born in Drama in 1993 and started playing drums and percussion when he was 9. At the age of 12 he started studying drums and classical percussion at the Conservatory of Music in Drama under the guidance of Fotis Valeras. He went on to play with various local bands and percussion ensembles while taking lessons Nikos Vargiamides.
He received a scholarship to study at the University The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. He was also awarded the Eubie Blake Scholarship, and the ‘Kostas Kouvidis’ Scholarship for drummers and graduated from The New School in 2017.
He has recorded and played with artists such as Gary Bartz, Charles Tolliver and Diane Moser and he has performed at countless venues such as Fat Cat Music, Melrose Ballroom, The Greek Cultural Center in NY, Shrine, Harlem School of Arts, etc.
His first album as a leader "Words" was released digitally in 2021.
