Apostolos Kaltsas was born and raised in Lamia, where he started to study music at an early age. He studied electric bass with Yiorgos Fakanas and theatrology at the University of Athens.

He was a member of the rock group Ypogeia Revmata for 9 years and he has collaborated with many well-known Greek artists, such as Thanos Mikroutsikos, Apostolos Rizos, Christos Thivaios and Dimitra Galani. He has also composed for theatrical performances.

His first personal album "Mythotopia" was released in 2010 and "Emotional Algebra", an album featuring notable Greek jazz musicians, was released in 2020.
