George Avramidis was born in Thessaloniki and was raised in Giannitsa. In 1998 he became a member of the North Greece ERT Orchestra and collaborated with the Opera and the City Orchestra of Thessaloniki.

He has participated in more than 100 recordings, has collaborated with artists such as Giannis Aggelakas and Antonis Kafetzopoulos and is a member of the band EKMEK.

His debut album as a leader "Protocol" was released in 2013.
